Machine Operators

Location: Jenkintown, Pennsylvania 19046

Reports to: Manufacturing Function

Job Summary:

Open positions are available for Machine Operators on 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) and 3rd shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM). Individuals with experience working with the following equipment are preferred:

• CNC Lathes
• Automatic Screw Machines (Acme, Conematic, Davenport, Wickman)
• Centerless Grinders
• Bolt Making or Nut Forging ( Waterbury, National)
• Threadrolling  Equipment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate related machining equipment
• Perform other duties as necessary or appropriate to the position

Minimum Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

• 1-2 years minimum experience for all positions
• Experience with other types of metal working equipment machines is acceptable
• Ability to use standard shop mathematics
• Have a good understanding of blueprints/drawings and machine tooling
• Experience with precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, gauges and other measuring instruments used to perform quality control checks on parts produced
• Must be able to work in a team environment
