SPS Technologies Offers Non-Slotted Self-Locking Nuts

JENKINTOWN, Pa. – SPS Technologies, a leading manufacturer of high-strength fasteners and precision components since 1903, offers a line of high quality non-slotted locknuts.

These nuts, marketed under the trade name of FLEXLOC® nuts offer users a high quality locknut alternative to the traditional split beam design nuts. Non-slotted “GH Series” FLEXLOC nuts meet the locking torque requirements of MIL- NASM-25027 for 15 cycles of reusability.

Corrosion resistant locknuts are available in plain finish for use in applications up to 550º F., molybdenum plated usable in applications up to 450ºF. or silver plated for applications up to 800ºF. Cadmium (per AMS-416) and zinc (per ASTM-B633) plated carbon steel nuts are available for use up to 450ºF.

Non-slotted self-locking nuts are available in sizes from .112” to 1.250” diameters. Locking action on these nuts is achieved by an elliptical squeeze.
