SPS Technologies Offers Military Standard FLEXLOC ® Clinch Nuts

JENKINTOWN, PA. – SPS Technologies offers FLEXLOC all-metal clinch nuts that conform to Military Standards. FLEXLOC clinch nuts are one-piece, all-metal locknuts with 3B thread class and locking torques per NASM-25027 (formerly MIL-N-25027).

These special-purpose self-locking nuts can be used for mounting in thin section materials such as aluminum, brass or soft steel. They are especially valuable in applications where equipment must be taken apart and reassembled, or where nuts are difficult to reach. These nuts can also be used in assemblies that require flush mounting.

Ranging in size from #4 to ½” coarse and fine threads, these nuts are available in carbon steel, corrosion-resistant austenitic steel, naval brass and aluminum. Finishes of cadmium, zinc, silver and anodized can be applied, depending on the material. Microsize clinch nuts are also available in sizes from #0 to #4.
