A Brochure Published by SPS Technologies Describes Their New High Strength Titanium Fasteners

JENKINTOWN, PA - The Aerospace Fastener Group of SPS Technologies, a leading manufacturer of high-strength fasteners and precision components since 1903, has published a four-page brochure describing the company's new high-strength, titanium alloy fasteners for use in aerospace applications. The literature details the development of titanium fasteners that offer high tensile and shear strength properties in sizes not possible from standard titanium alloys. Minimum properties for tensile, shear and fatigue strength are outlined in the brochure.

Tension bolts manufactured from the new 761 titanium alloy can be manufactured to160 ksi tensile strength in sizes from ¾" to 1-1/2" diameters. 180 ksi tensile strength fasteners with 108 ksi shear strength levels are also available in sizes up to 1" diameter.
