SPS Technologies Offers GREER™ Non-metallic Insert Castellated Nuts

Jenkintown, PA – Respected by fastener users for over 40 years. GREER castellated locking nuts are available in a wide range of sizes in a hex configuration.

Recognizable by its trademark green color, the nylon locking feature is useable in applications up to 250°F. The nylon insert resists most organic acids, oils, greases and common solvents and mineral acids.  It also resists the abrasive action caused by nicked threads in mating fasteners increasing reliability and reducing down time from failed installations.

GREER castellated locknuts are offered in sizes from .190" to 1-1/4” diameters. The carbon steel material is cadmium plated. These castellated nuts are tested to meet the locking requirements of NASM-25027.

GREER locknuts have been used in transportation, communications, electronics, defense, shipbuilding, railroads and other industries.
