SPS Technologies Offers Tension Flanged Nuts

JENKINTOWN, PA . - SPS Technologies, a leading manufacturer of high-strength fasteners and precision components since 1903, offers a line of tension flanged nuts for use in aerospace and other high performance applications.

Available in sizes ranging from #2 through 2.5” tension flanged nuts can be manufactured from alloy steel, A286, CRES materials, MP159 ®, MP35N®, Titanium, Alloy 718 and Waspaloy. Finishes of cadmium, cadmium and molybdenum, silver, nickel, zinc and dry film lubricant will be applied in the computer controlled plating facilities at SPS Technologies.

Strength levels range from 145 through 300 ultimate tensile strengths depending on material, size and configuration. SPS offers their tension flanged nuts in 12 point, hex and spline driving configurations. Metal, NYTEMP® and VESPEL® locking features are available on request.
