SPS Technologies Offers Special Hex Recess Socket Screws Designed for Critical Applications

JENKINTOWN, PA – SPS Technologies, a leading manufacturer of high-strength fasteners and precision components, offers a special line of hex recess socket screws designed for critical applications.

These customized socket screws are the result of coupling the material and configuration with customized manufacturing, controlled heat treatment and computer controlled plating. Socket head cap, button, flat head and shoulder screws are available in sizes ranging from #0 to 1-1/2” diameters depending on the material selection, size and configuration.

To assure compatibility in customer-specified applications, these fasteners are available in a variety of materials ranging in strength levels from 140 ksi to 280 ksi: AEREX 350®, MP35N ® MP159®, titanium, Alloy 718, WASPALOY®, alloy steels, CRES Materials, AERMET®, H-11 and A286. Available finishes include cadmium, nickel-cadmium, silver, and passivated. Locking features are available on request.
